Revell 2016 Corvette Stingray Plastic Model Kit Description
In 2014, the Corvette Stingray was all new and the seventh generation of America’s sports car. The first Corvette in 1953 was a groundbreaking vehicle, and the 2016 Corvette continues this tradition. The ‘cutting edge’ design of the C7 Corvette makes use of the most advanced materials available today. These include aluminum, carbon fiber and Aerogel, to name a few. The performance results are just as impressive, with a 0 to 60 mph time of only 3.8 seconds. Development of the C7 Corvette started in 2007, and was watched closely by the GM executives. Early on, the decision was made not to produce a completely new design, such as a mid-engine car, but rather a more refined and modern Corvette in every way. Under the hood is the best Chevy small block motor ever produced, developing over 460 horsepower. It sends the power to the ground through either a seven-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
